Well first you start with the base
The basic shape of the hair as a shape layer
Then using the same colour as the base make more shape layers over the top at lower opacities and different settings like linear dodge, difference, screen, colour dodge etc. this is for the larger shapes, for the thin strands of hair, they're not actually shape layers. Its just stroked paths with stimulated pressure.Did that make sense? .____.
I'm crap at explaining anything.
